Figura is a pair of turned wooden candlestick holders by Wilkinson & Rivera, made to sit among favourite things on a bookshelf, a mantelpiece or a set table.
Their figurative silhouette comes from off-centre turning on the lathe, a distinct technique that yields sculptural, asymmetrical forms with gentle curves. Pictured in spalted hornbeam, a timber of limited supply, each pair is handmade in the studio's London workshop.
