The 9090 is Alessi’s first-ever espresso coffee maker, as well as the first to win numerous Compasso d’Oro awards and the first Alessi piece to be exhibited at the MoMA in New York.
“I wanted to give this coffee maker features that others don’t have,” said Richard Sapper, describing the concept behind its design.
The 9090 is distinctive not only for its unique truncated cone shape but also for its functional innovations, such as:
• A wider base for optimal heat utilization
• A drip-free spout
• A lever-lock system that allows the coffee maker to open with a single hand movement
A true icon of design and functionality, the 9090 blends practicality with timeless elegance.
